Part of the Water Works Autumn programme saw us team up with Stephen Porch from Glasgow’s Flower Power Project for a series of end of season activities – seed collecting and traditional meadow management. Key ingredients for a successful species rich wildflower meadow.
Big thanks to Barrhead and Thornliebank Centres for coming out for the seed collecting. Also big thank you to Ken Smith from the Glasgow Herald and covering the Scything Workshop in his usual whimsical way – http://www.heraldscotland.com/opinion/columnists/14765787.Looking_for_your_inner_Poldark_on_the_outskirts_of_Glasgow/ .
A great way for people to get involved with day to activities at the Water Works. Check out the Events page to find out what else is happening at the site.
